DO YOU WORK WITH A SECONDARY PHOTOGRAPHER?
No but the option is available upon request at an additional cost. I recommend a secondary if you and your loved one are getting ready at different locations that are significantly away from each other but otherwise I feel more confident shooting a wedding on my own. I am a perfectionist when it comes to creating photographs and I feel that it represents who I am as an creative individual. Not only that but I want to make sure you have the best photographs possible.
HOW DO WE LOCK YOU IN FOR OUR BIG DAY?
A non-refundable 10% deposit will secure your day with the remainder of the fee due anytime up to 2 weeks before your wedding.
CAN WE MEET YOU FOR A CHAT?
You are most welcome to arrange a time to discuss details further. You can meet me either before you book me or closer to your wedding day to run through anything you're feeling uncertain about. I’m based in Frankston, VIC but happy to travel to a location that’s easy for us both. I do work as a full time teacher throughout the week so a phone call can also be ideal if our schedules don't match too well.
HOW WILL WE GET OUR IMAGES?
I’ll email you through 15-20 preview images within the first week after the wedding so that you have something to look at until the rest are finished. Then 5 weeks after your wedding day, you'll receive a USB with all your fully edited images in both high resolution (for printing) and Internet sized (for sharing).
WE DON’T KNOW HOW TO POSE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA/ MY PARTNER IS VERY AWKWARD. HOW WILL YOU HELP WITH THIS?
That’s totally okay, everyone is always a little awkward at first. I like to refer to my style as secret ninja/lurking around corners and in garden bushes. By the end of the day, you may not even notice me anymore. During the couple photos, I’ll give you a little bit more direction but my main aim is to capture candid and natural moments.
I also recommend allowing 45 minutes to an hour for bridal party and couple photos so that we can get a few locations done and you're not feeling rushed. Also, the last two hours before sunset are known as the golden hours and are the most ideal for portraits as the lighting is beautiful and soft.
DO WE PROVIDE YOU WITH A MEAL?
If I’m with you for 6+ hours, if possible then yes please. By the end of the ceremony and bridal party photos, I am famished and ready to eat more than a fully-grown man. I’ve learnt to bring along snacks for renewed photo taking energy but it’s very appreciated (if it’s sit down) that I may eat at the same time as you and you’ll often see me grazing and nibbling along with everyone else (usually whilst juggling a camera in my hand because I've seen a shot that I really can't miss). Plus no one looks very flattering with a mouth full of food.
